October 17, Saturday, 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. Bonfire Harvest Festival at the Scranton Iron Furnaces, 159 Cedar Avenue, Scranton.\r\n\r\nAdmission is $15.00 in advance by purchasing tickets at the Anthracite Heritage Museum or $20.00 at the day of the event at the Scranton Iron Furnaces. Children under 12 are free admission.
October 25, Sunday, 2 p.m., Remember Johnny Mitchell Day!\r\n\r\nThe museum will host the dramatic reading of the play: John Mitchell: An American Legend, written and read by Robert Thomas Hughes. Admission is $5.00 per person.
